Youjin Rhee - Architectural Designer
Youjin Rhee currently is pursuing a Master of Architecture at Pratt Institute, Graduate School of Architecture. She previously received a Bachelor's degree in Architecture(5 years) from Yeung-Nam Univ, South Korea. As a student, she participated in numerous architecture workshops and architectural student writer of famous Korea Architecture magazines. (SPACE, C3) for 2 years. During that time, she continues to keep researching for her thoughts of architecture in diverse ways, and that time became a productive period for her to broaden her architectural thoughts. She also actively participated in the college as a member of the architecture club for 5 years.
After graduation, she entered Usun Architecture & Engineering Firm, which is located in Seoul, South Korea. During that time, she participated in several projects in diverse phases. For example, The national museum in Iksan (2020 Korean Architecture Award, second prize), The polytech univ in Milyang, apartments, office center, etc. Mostly, she joined in DD(Design Development), CD(Construction Documents) phases. Of course, she participated in PD(Pre Design) for the architecture competition, and it was selected (office center in Namyangju, South Korea).
She has an overall understanding of the process of creating a design to executing the finished proposal based on her experience.
